KMES members
who require access to a wider range
workshop and machine tools or do not have access to a workshop, usually
enrol at the Evening Class for Model Engineering in Bromley.
Under the tutor Chris Buckingham, classes are held on Monday to Thursday
2-5 pm and Thursday evening 6-9 pm. Students are given access to lathes,
milling machines, pedestal drills, surface grinders, bending rolls,
shears,
press brakes etc.,
Hand tools are provided and material such as bright mild
steel can be purchased.
