The Kent Model Engineering Society is an established club which has a history going back over 70 years.

Meetings usually take the form of  a presentation.
Talks are given by members, or an invited speaker, on a subject related to models, or local history, normally with a technical bias.
Any suggestions for talks are most welcome.

Members interests include, Steam boats, Tool making, live steam locomotives from 'O' gauge through to 5" gauge and stationary steam engines. Constructors are most welcome.

Visits to places of interest are regularly arranged and prove to be popular.

The Club also owns a small portable track of 3½" and 5" gauge

Meetings are held once  a month on Friday nights. From 19:30 to 21:30 at the Lionel Road Community centre, Westhorne Avenue, Eltham. SE9

Membership is a modest £10 a year paid in January.

KMES is a member of the Southern federation of model engineering clubs.

Please sign the guest book for comments and suggestions.
